I was lucky enough to be invited to Surrey Sports Park to train their Personal Trainers how to utilise their Instagram channels to boost their own personal training bookings and the facility memberships.
Before I ran the training I met with Laura, the Marketing Manager to discuss the focus of the training and what the outcome was that she was looking for. My training sessions are a little different to most, always bespoke and always informal. I find that people respond best when they feel listened to (rather than spoken at) and can be hands-on in the training. The team came in armed with their phones (an essential in Instagram training) and off we went.
We discussed ideas for content, using the right #hashtags to reach the right people, the do's don't and always must do's of instagram, basic Instagram admin, the benefits of being social on social media and how to present yourself as an expert without being big headed.
It was a really positive session, they all had great ideas and left feeling confident to take their Instagram to the next level.
